I don’t know if anyone can help me, but I would be interested to know if anyone has information on my relatives.

My great, great, grandfather was Edward Weekes Lawson who served in the Derbyshire Constabulary from 1855-ish to 1885-ish when he was Deputy Chief Constable of Derbyshire. I believe he then moved to Southport where he finally died at 117 Hampton Road in 1915.

In the 1891 census they lived at 56 Hawkshead St, North Meols. Aphia Lawson, who was 18, was a Teacher Of Music

I don't know if he moved there to be in the police force or whether he just retired there, but if anyone has any information on him, his wife Isabella, or his daughter Aphia (or Aphra) Jane, I would be delighted to hear from them.
