Enquiry about John Guinan

I am trying to find info on a John Guinan and Birkdale Farm Reformatory R.C where he was Headmaster, per. 1891 census. He had a wife and 7 children. I got into the 1891 Census once but could never find it again. I would be very pleased with any help or info. on John born Ballindown, Ireland, or info on the school.

believe my great grandfather, William McMellon also taught
at this school around the same time, possibly a little before.
His first wife died in childbirth and we believe he met
his second wife = Annie Cotton, who also taught at the school.
They moved to Bamber Bridge nr Preston, where he was headmaster
of St Mary's RC If you have any info on the school I would
be very interested.
